As we are getting closer to production, may be it's good to have this discussion now only.
Some of the points:

  1. How we should write "transtats" like

    • transtats
    • Transtats
    • TranStats
    • TRANSTATS

  2. May be design of symbol or mark for transtats and if that design is combined with "transtats" text, could be called as logo!

    • The design should reflect concept of language statistics: may be some alphabet/s and stats (graphs, charts).

I think the name "Transtats" is okay, but open to other ideas or discussion. :)
