Determine best app distribution channels for testing and such at TREC.

wrt Android:

should be easy enough to ignore APP store, mobile users just need to download the APK and ensure they allow unsigned/dev apps.

wrt iOS:

more complicated.
can circumvent but then need mobile tester device ids (I don't like this but probably doesn't require a dev license)
-TestFlight allows distribution via email address but requires dev license
- up to 1000 users (probably good enough for TREC demo and maybe even TREC full)

wrt to iOS:

Developers can apparently sign the apps themselves to do out of App store distribution
