const keyword unsupported in IE #5

I'd like to use go2js to emit Javascript that works in IE, FF, Chrome, etc. The const keyword throws an exception in IE.

A few possibilities:

Add a command line switch to turn const on/off (if off then use 'var' in all cases)
Use the idiom here to fallback to var if const is unavailable at runtime: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6587189/javascript-shim-to-redefine-const-as-var-for-internet-explorer

Ok, I only could test it in both Firefox and Chromium.
