Seems like the latest commit on master adds python3 support, but there's no new package version available on pypi since 0.2.0 - any chance you could release a new version?

Maybe you are still interested, I made a fork and published the latest with Python3 support + some bugfixes to pypi as dirtools2.
You can install it with pip install dirtools2.
