Being able to remove options from selections one by one

Slide off the option out of the screen! It came up a couple of times during conversations. @mnaugle-tt calls it the tinder approach. Now Duncan mentioned a similar approach could be helpful to get rid of design options. I'm adding this here as a wish so someone can implement it later.
