I was passing through after seeing an issue with SSL on the turtl client relating to an outdated pem, and I decided to have a look at the build system.
I'm seeing that it uses debian 7 (!) which has been out of support for some time. I've not been able to generate any of the dockerfiles in the buildo repo on account of this, among other things.
What I'd like to know is:
In the view of the devs, does turtl currently have a future? I can see updates to the ui repo but it isn't clear to me if there's a roadmap.
If so, do you need help? My background is in devops and I can probably update your build system if you're still interested in developing the application. These days I'd suggest github workflows rather than make, but I'd be happy to work with you on whatever you're comfortable with. Anything to keep people away from Google Keep and the like.
Cheers
John

if turtl doesn't come back and you're still interested in working on a similar project, there is this new baby on its way that might be worth checking out
