There is still an issue with the search that does not actually search the code base but it will search a pre-defined set of terms it reads from a provided file for autocompletion.
The search itself is a frontend for the official drupal site search. Based on the project's assigned drupal version, this would then open a browser window in the IDE, navigating to the official site, instead of opening an external browser window? Including also autocompletion, which would then be querying the official site instead?

We should be replacing the existing icon with one that states "Search" instead of just "Drupal" or even more simple, encodes that information into a customized version of the drupal logo, e.g. one with or behind a magnifying glass...
So instead of
we would have a different icon, getting rid of the "Drupal" label.
