Hello,
I would be interested in adding some servo motors to the Parrot Disco. However, I don't know how to do (especially how to put the firmware it in the C.H.U.C.K). Would it be possible to help me please and also indicate me if an update of the program has been done to have no issues during the flight.
A last question, is it possible to use it in 4g mod ?
Thanks for all
Cordially
Alex

You can use disco-servo to control servo motors. First install uavpal from https://github.com/uavpal

Then follow the instructions in this repository to add the disco-servo files. Edit the config file with the settings you need to control your servos. Physically your servos would be connected to one of the servo rails this mod can control.

Hi,
Thanks for the mod. In order to transfer the files, how do i access the locations on the Disco since i can't find them with filezilla?
Thanks!
Jan

Hello!
Please note that Disco-Servo is an add-on to UAVPal's Disco4g mod. The directories you are looking for will only exist if you have already installed Disco4g. This is because it relies on some features which are enabled during the Disco4g installation process.

Go to the Disco4g page https://github.com/uavpal/disco4g

There you can access the installation instructions via the wiki page. Once the 4g mod is installed, you can follow the instructions here to install disco-servo.

FYI you can have the 4g mod installed without actually using it, it won't affect your Disco in any way.

Hello again,

So the actual file locations are the ones in the instructions. If you are able to upload to the UAVPal folder, then you could telnet into the Disco and SC2 and use command line to copy the files to the correct locations and do CHMOD on them.
