I think time span is not shared. But the point in time where Ayşe has/had not been in the office and Sude was not home (perhaps for a longer/shorter time period) is the same for both. I would assume a shared time period if the temporal modifier is moved to the beginning or the end of the sentence.
We want to be sure that we're understanding how the conjunction works in sentence (8).
Does the span of three hours relate to both Sude and Ayşe, or only to Sude?
