Shortcut to translate disables used character #90

When I select a shortcut i.e "cmd + shift + X" I cannot use shift+X to write upper X character. Tried also for different letters and it is the same.

Polyglot version Version 3.3 (3.3.0)

Describe the bug
key combo can prevent typing of normal characters

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Set hot key, eg. cmd+shift+x
  2. Reload page
  3. Try to type capital X (shift+x) in text field on page

Expected behavior

  • key combo should not affect normal typing

Actual behavior

  • cannot type capital X

Version (please complete the following information):

  • Safari 14.0.3 (14610.4.3.1.6)
  • Polyglot 3.3
  • macOS 10.14.6 (18G8022)
