Which Umbraco version are you using? (Please write the exact version, example: 10.1.0)

Bug summary

I refactored some blocks and replaced a block on a instance of Block List using single block mode to used a "Card Base" instead of just "Card".

However when this happens, there is no way from UI the removed or clear/reset the single card.
I think it should always be possible to clear/reset.

It would be great to have this as a property action as well.

In a block list not using single block mode, it is possible to remove each unsupported block.

which also have the property action to remove all items.

Steps to reproduce

  • Add a property using Block List and single block mode.
  • Add content to property and save
  • Change block used in Block List
  • Go back to block list in content and noticed unsupported block

Expected result / actual result

To be able to clear/reset single block.
In this case I can remove entire block in block grid, where the block as a card property using the single block. But also other properties, which well be lost.

If the single block was directly on content node, one has the delete the entire page and re-create this (or change the reference to the element type udi in the database).

@nielslyngsoe @iOvergaard probably also an issue in Bellissima / Umbraco 14.

It would be great to reset/clear in this case to re-scaffold the single block (as if it was new).

14+ has a different issue regarding the same manipulation. I will create a new ticket for it.
