Not very tech proficient but do what I can to get by. Running Debian 10 and Ungoogled Version 90.0.4430.212. A while ago I saw Ungoogled was being updated in my Debian package manager which I had not seen happen in the past but then those updates stopped so maybe it was a one time deal? Not sure how all that works. But just checked and running v 90 so it is overdue.
Not sure I am running Appimage or Portable? And which one should I use? I assume "portable" means for usb / removable device? My current Ungoogled is loaded in home/.config/chromium.
I see the most up to date un-portable is v 87 updated Jan-2021. So I should not use that one?
Can someone just clarify the updates; if I install Appimage v 91 and then two weeks later v 92 is released under another platform - un-portable or portable - are we supposed to change our install platform just to update and stay current? What is the risk of not being current like I am right now running Version 90.0.4430.212 ?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
EDIT
Change of plans - I see I have the non-portable v 87 installed from the OBS Production Project which hasn't been update since May. Tried to install the current appimage platform but for some reason I can't get it to execute. Never had problems with other appimage programs just this one. With that said I surrender to this and just switched to brave.
