Describe the feature

I would like to propose the addition of USB keyboard support for Xbox remote play via the Greenlight app. This feature would allow users to use keyboard directly to facilitate easier text input, making tasks like messaging and typing in-game commands more efficient and user-friendly.

Describe the use case

The primary use case for this feature would be to enhance the user experience during Xbox remote play by simplifying text input. Currently, typing using the Xbox controller can be cumbersome and slow. With keyboard support, users can quickly and conveniently type messages, enter codes, and perform other text-related functions directly through their keyboard, mimicking the efficiency of PC gaming.

Additional information

Xbox remote play have the need for more efficient text input methods while gaming or communicating through their console. Adding keyboard support would align Greenlight with other gaming platforms that already support direct keyboard input, thereby improving its competitive edge and user satisfaction.
