The author name here should be added to the Bulldozer alias file.

Not possible to determine if this is a collaboration or a Salty Dog original modified by Bulldozer or, indeed, a Bulldozer map modified by Salty Dog.

If a Salty Dog alias is produced then this author combination should be added to that as well.

There are several BattleOfTheBridge maps credited to SaltyDog - looks to me as if this map is a Salty Dog original that was modifed by Bulldozer.

Credits should go to both authors, I think.

Since this is a modification by Bulldozer, I'm going to leave this author as-is, so it still shows the original author for now.

That's fine - though it raises a crucial question - is the Author the maker of the original map or the creator of what it is in the archive?

There are many cases where the Author of an original map which is subsequently modified is credited and many others where the person who has modified a map is credited as Author (or given a co-credit as modifier or editor). There needs to be a clear guideline on how to deal with this.

I would suggest that the modifier should be credited simply because the original author will not have been involved in creating the 'work' which is packaged in the archive. An example is the [SP] versions of FNB's maps which are credited to FNB - obviously FNB was not involved in 'making' those modified [SP] versions - had he been then they would appear on his website.

A new approach might be to credit the modifier as Author of the work in the package and to have a new and separate field crediting the author of the original map as well.

Or have joint authors - the author of the original map and the creator of the modified version - see the numerous Shane Caudle + modifier tabs under Browse Authors > S.
