Setting above x cores with the LiggghtsMPI function causes the execution to become hung and not run the simulation. The output when this occurs can be seen in the image below:
From current testing 14 cores seems to work fine whereas using 18 cores it fails after a few seconds into the simuation. See image below:
Not a major issue since 14 cores still works which is plenty but good to keep track of.
