I'm interested to know what "appropriate metadata" means in the context of accepting only digital records by the end of 2022. Will agencies be provided with a metadata standard by NARA? Or will they be required to create their own metadata standard, approved by NARA, in much the same manner that records retention schedules are coordinated? Have any resources been identified to move this requirement along? It's not an insignificant effort.
