Rather than write all the shim functions by hand it'd be nice to use some kind of wrapper generator tool. @arthurp has prior work on the Lapis compiler (see their paper on AvA at https://oscarlab.github.io/papers/ava-asplos20.pdf). It may be useful to us in automating this process. The code is available at https://github.com/utcs-scea/ava.
