Describe the issue
shared Folder is missing after VM was Paused and Resumed.
trying to remount it in the Guest throws: "special device share does not exist."

Im Unsure if this even is an UTM issue as i havent seen anything that seems related to Directory sharing in UTMs pause() and resume() methods.
Without having any Knowledge about UTMs inner workings (or even swift), i tried to trigger the updateSharedDirectories() in the resume() method in the hope that it would add the Shared Folder again ... without any success :/

Configuration

  • UTM Version: 4.6.2
  • macOS Version: 15.3
  • Mac Chip (Intel, M1, ...): Apple M2
  • Apple Virtualization

I also had this occur when updating UTM to 4.6.4--all my shares disappeared and became empty local dirs/files on the guest macOS.
