(Raspberry Pi 3 b+) + (VisIt) : Is it possible? If, Yes, How?

Hello everyone, my Raspberry Pi 3 b+ supports OpenGL 2.1 while, if I am correct, the current version of VisIt demands OpenGL 3.X. Also, I made few attempts to install the package with no success.
Is there any way, e.g. an older version that used OpenGL 2.1, that could be installed on my Raspberry and actually work? If, yes, then, how could I install this older or newer package?

Honestly, I don't know if VisIt will build/run on Raspberry Pi, but to answer your questions:

Yes. We use VTK for our rendering and they require this version. You can add --mesagl --llvm to the build_visit commands to get a Mesa version of GL that will work if you are unable to update to newer OpenGL on your system.

I wonder if there are permission restrictions ??
You can manually create the third_party directory before running build_visit, if you don't want to respond during the build process.
Create it in the directory where you are running build_visit.
