Objective

Kickstart the delta-hunter project by laying down the groundwork for its architecture and initializing the primary repository setup.

Tasks

1. Research Arbitrage Bot Architecture

  • Existing Solutions: Delve into pre-existing crypto arbitrage bots and tools for valuable insights.
  • Core Components: Enumerate the essential components such as:
    • Data acquisition
    • Opportunity detection
    • Trade automation
    • Risk assessment
  • Tech Evaluation: Assess potential technologies, libraries, and tools suitable for our bot's goals.

2. Initialize Repository

  • Repo Structure: Establish the foundational structure for the CryptoArbBot repository.
  • Git Configurations: Set up a .gitignore file based on our chosen tech stack.
  • Repository Settings: Enforce branch protection rules and define contributor access levels.
  • Documentation: Draft an initial README.md that elucidates the bot's intent, features, and architecture.

3. Documentation

  • Research Compilation: Aggregate our architectural research findings into a markdown document.
  • Design Draft: Based on our investigations, sketch a preliminary design of the arbitrage bot's architecture.

Expected Outcomes

By the conclusion of these tasks, we aim to have a well-structured GitHub repository and an accompanying set of documents that provide a clear path forward, rooted in our initial research and design speculations.
