Huge blobs are less of a risk than the bot believes #1

Bigger blobs don't generally tend to go for you when you are less than 1/4th their mass.
Right now the bot seems to do its utter best to stay out of splitting range of the (mostly) harmless huge blobs, which effectively paralyzes it.

There's another zone of risk where if the player is near a blob that is highly at risk of splitkilling, the player shares that risk, because of proximity. Calculating that would require a lot of extra calculations that might be too expensive, so I haven't done it.

Do you mean when the player is near a blob that is at risk of being splitkilled? This has occurred to me as well. Might be something to come back to once the overall code is more optimized/less expensive.
