High-level objective

All design system components are in the process of being reviewed to ensure they match Figma specifications and follow current code standards. Applying standards throughout the library quickly results in less migration work for teams since consistency debt accumulated over time will be addressed during a short span.

Rationale for prioritization

Modal is one of the most used components, and the current implementation has design and technical debt. The component doesn't follow Figma specifications, and there are a few open bugs related to it. Besides fixing these issues, we must ensure that the code and documentation meet the current standards.
