Consider renaming "Default Language" to e.g. "Language" #204
Comments
We could just say "Language" but that seems to me very final, as though all of the content in the document must be whatever that Language is. On the other hand, it's good to have the property values have the same name in the model if they have the same representation in TTML. |
Not sure how we're going to get to a conclusion on this. Adding agenda label to remind us to discuss it on a call. |
The Timed Text Working Group just discussed
The full IRC log of that discussion<nigel> Subtopic: Consider renaming "Default Language" to e.g. "Language" #204<nigel> github: https://github.com//issues/204 <cpn> Cyril: In the text object, it says language not default language <cpn> Nigel: It's optional in the text object, but mandatory in the script object <cpn> ... I don't feel strongly about this <cpn> Cyril: I'm fine, we can close this. Things have changed since last discussed <cpn> Nigel: Works for me. Any other views? <cpn> (none) <nigel> SUMMARY: Close without change |
