Christian: Some of the members used to work at Endomondo.
…The platform aims at collecting, aggregating, analyzing and present sports data.
… Mobile Apps for iOS and Android.
… Originally created for entertainment of the audience (fantasy game)
… Results, quizzes, etc.
… The team: (a bunch of ex-elite athletes (:-o) + 6 technical members)
… Good feedback received from the community.
… Example of World Championship this summer. Start list, schedules, results, personal bests, seasonal bests, etc.
… A new feature: quizzes about events. I.e., who’s going to win the 400m?
Martin: Any API or mechanism to open /collect data from external systems?
Michal: Integrating with Tilastopaja’s DB to fetch information about athletes. No API to export data outwards yet, but it's part of the roadmap.
Andy: What is the target?
Christian: People who organize competitions but are not used to it. Accessible ways to introduce data.
Andy: What are your expectations in terms of standards?
Christian: Our main contribution would be focused on accessibility on mobile devices. Aggregating data and in a useful way.
