Is there any outlook on getting this implemented? We are currently restarting the HPA adapter every hour to avoid the issue mentioned in #8. However, this is apparently leading to an issue with pods getting stuck terminating due to a K8S finalizer that calls the custom-metrics-apiserver (this adapter).
