We probably dont actually need to show the IDs. We can just have a [searchable] list of people, and add a nominate button. People probably don't actually care what the UUID string is.

The issue is more centered around unique UUIDs for every vote, so that revealing your UUID for one vote does not expose past or future votes.

Why can't the maintainer assign a new UUID on request?

Would it be retroactive?

Retroactively wouldn't be too effective if someone is constantly downloading votes to check for changes.

If we didn't do it retroactively, we could publish a list of UUIDs that are inactive and when they were rotated.
