If a student hasn't made any changes to their code and presses the "check" button, they get a message indicating that they haven't made any changes since their last check action and to look at their previous results. However, there doesn't seem to be any place where previous results are accessible on the code page.

OK, found it: if the student is looking at their code, they can use the "history" button in the dock at the look at the revision history of their work. All versions that have been submitted for checking also include a score. The score is actually a link that will pull up the detailed test results from that submission attempt.
Unfortunately, I think this is too hidden. I think it would be better to add another button to the righthand button bar for recalling the most recent results/score. It might not be a good idea to make this a "score"/link, however, since it represents the "most recent results", not necessarily the correctness/quality of the work currently visible in the code window.
