Any chance that there might be support for the Canada.ca Redesign theme in the near future?

Since there are still many departments using the previous generation of GCWeb, I suggest the Redesign be called GCWeb2.

Also, it would be good to ensure that the code is now compatible with PHP 7.x (probably is but just need to confirm).

Best regards,

Michael

I suppose I should look into this.

I don't know if a full rewrite is involved or if I can create a sub-theme folder and extend the relevant header/footer files. It'd be nice if I could get away with the latter, but I suspect a lot of the former will be required.

Hi @upsonp !

Glad to see you are still on this. I think it can be done as a sub-theme. If you have no objections, I would like to take an initial stab at this as I am a little pressed for time (doing a new version of WET-BOEW-MOODLE).

Unless you have time to work on this right now, perhaps you could give me a few days? If it requires more than a sub-theme, we might need to work together on this.

Best regards,

Michael

Be my guest, I'd be happy for the help and it'll probably get done a lot faster :)
