[Feature Request] CardDAV sync for contacts on webmail

I gotta admit, I don't even know if that's technically possible, but it would sure be nice to have:
I think it would be great if there was an CardDAV client within webmail. So we could set up our CardDAV contact lists (e.g. from Owncloud) and already have all our contacts within Whiteout.
So, just to avoid confusion: I don't want Whiteout to be a CardDAV server where contacts are stored but a client that gets the contact list from a CardDAV server.

I'm aware that even if this is possible it most probably would be very low priority but I just wanted to submit it anyway because I like the idea!

Any news on that? I think it is the main functionality missing.
