It seems that the shape conversion doesn't work correctly in some cases. Here are some problems that I found:

Shape nodes cannot be correctly converted in some GPML files such as WP554 and WP453.
The color of the oval shape in WP1301 is not correct.
Conversion of WP2578 gives error.

In my opinion, the shape conversion code should be reviewed thoroughly.
