Direction of Orion nebula - known to be problematic with DR2 (i.e. fraction of known YSOs - e.g. classified as so by Spitzer). Appears to be a background subtraction issue in Gaia Bp and Rp (spectral integration not PSF photometry) that moves these objects away from their expected positions in the CMD. Objects appear bluer than should be.
Pick some sight-lines without known YSOs - above problem far smaller.
