Sublime Text 3

Install

Install the GPG key:

wget -qO - https://download.sublimetext.com/sublimehq-pub.gpg | sudo apt-key add -

Ensure apt is set up to work with https sources:

sudo apt-get install apt-transport-https

Select the channel (Stable) to use:

echo "deb https://download.sublimetext.com/ apt/stable/" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sublime-text.list

Update apt sources and install Sublime Text

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sublime-text

License

Edit hosts：

  • Ubuntu sudo vim /etc/hosts
  • Windows C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Packages

  • AutoFileName: Pressing Ctrl+Space, will activate AutoFileName
  • Terminal: Open Terminal at File Press Ctrl+Shift+t on Windows and Linux
  • LaTexTools: A LaTeX Plugin for Sublime Text 2 and 3
  • ConvertToUTF8: With this plugin, you can edit and save the files which encodings are not supported by Sublime Text currently, especially for those used by CJK users, such as GB2312, GBK, BIG5, EUC-KR, EUC-JP, etc.
  • Alignment : Select the lines you wish to align. Press Ctrl+Alt+A (Windows & Linux) or Command+Ctrl+A (Mac OS X)

  • GitGutter: Show git diff in gutter
  • GitSavvy: Full git and GitHub integration with Sublime Text 3.
  • SublimeREPL: Run an interpreter inside ST2 or ST3 (Python + virtualenv, R, Ruby, Matlab, Shell...)
