I had a similar problem> I believe that the xmrig-nvidia software is no longer working. I used the standard xmrig software thats used for CPU and then just added the CUDA files to the same folder then modified the JSON file to enable CUBA (change from 'false' to 'true') Honestly I am a noob in programming but by some lucky change that seemed to work. The original xmrig.exe is now running both the CPU and GPU mining functions. Not sure if I missed some other important step here but it is working for now. I would appreciate it is someone with more experience can tell me at least WHY this worked. It was just a lucky try for me but I would like to understand better. THANK YOU.
is it possible that its not packaged with GPU dependencies to make it more difficult to participate in xmr out of the bag?
what CUDA files did you add? some of the dll's for other algorithms might be algorithm specific, just because they hash doesn't necessarily mean that they are designed properly for the other algorithm.
nvidia graphics cards correctly identified by the program are reporting that the architecture kernal is not supported in both cuda8 and cuda10
