Link highlighting and folding lost

When I access vim-notes file in the cloud link highlighting and folding are lost. My guess is I need to put something in my .vimrc related to syntax for vim-notes files.

I am not a coder or programmer. I’m a writer who was able to get a comfortable vim configuration going with a lot of help from the vim-use and mac-vim list servs.

I’m trying to sync vim on my mobile devices—actually iVim; vim for Apple mobile devices—and vim on my notebook via the cloud.

Help appreciated.
