GFE version: Sunshine 0.7.3 (x264 software encoder)
Moonlight version: 0.9.1
Settings:

  • 1280x720 or 960x540
  • 30fps
  • 10000 bitrate
  • reference frame invalidation, stream optimization, frame pacer, disable power save are all set to "yes"

While streaming there is frequent artifacting. It's most noticeable when the entire screen changes and is worse with higher setting (ex 1280x720 is worse than 960x540). Disabling reference frame invalidation causes the video stream to freeze for anywhere from a few milliseconds to around 1 second, but audio and inputs are still real-time

Moonlight on Android does not have the same artifacting nor stuttering at 10Mbps, which is why I believe this is a bug.
