I needed support for insert/updating rows while using mysql builtin functions (ie. AES_ENCRYPT()), but this was sending them to the underlying PDO instance as bindings, which would then insert the mysql function as a string instead of the computed value.
I added a $dontEscapeColumns to the insertOnDuplicateKey function - if provided, it will not try to bind those columns, and will instead pass the raw values to the query.
I have added test coverage, and all existing tests pass
