Scope

This request is to support my work at Yearn as a contributor.

The primary goal is to oversee and streamline the strategy pipeline and coordination for both internal contributors (IC) and external contributors (EC). This includes ensuring timely and safe V3 strategy deployments, supervising the entire strategy development process, managing the review queue, and monitoring KPIs associated with peer reviews and security audits. These efforts aim to cultivate efficient workflows among core developers, external contributors, and the security team.

My tasks also include:

• Due diligence, strategy writing, and peer reviews for scope not covered by strategist's fee (V3).
• Proactively engaging with other protocols and partners to foster new integrations and amplify revenue for Yearn (support to BD).
• Serving as a trusted signer on multiple Yearn multi-sigs.
• Standing as the primary expert on all things RWA-related (e.g., t-bills, on-chain credit).
• Championing initiative for on-chain risk frameworks and presenting external V3 strategies on Yearn's domain.

Plan

• Manage end-to-end review queues for all V3 strategies using the Kanban project boards. Both internal and external contributors will benefit from transparent tracking, with rightful attribution for strategist fees.
• Write and maintain strategies not covered by V3 fees (e.g., V2 strategies on Optimism).
• Promote high-quality and timely peer reviews.
• Conduct rigorous due diligence on new protocols and strategy types using an updated review framework, providing detailed reports to the security team.
• Engage in the strategy rating system to ensure alignment with V3 risk modeling and as a core contributor to the new multi-sig for on-chain risk scoring.
• Track and report key metrics bi-weekly, including queue velocity, contributor metrics (both IC and EC), and time-to-deployment.

Tools

• Enhanced Kanban project boards to visualize the workflow for internal and external efforts.
• A revised template for due diligence, accommodating new strategy types (not limited to "up only").
• In-production strategy card.
• Peer review leaderboard.
