Scope

This is an ongoing update from Zootroop yTeam. In our strong commitment to improving the way we share information, we continue pursuing automation, striving towards full autonomy while we start integrating into v3 and offering new tools to v3 users.

Our responsibilities include these main objectives:

  • Managing rewards from strategies: Daily monitoring of +500 enabled trades. Nov-Dec: 317 swaps (296 via cowswap / 21 via manual routes), 65 tx, ~1.8 M USD in rewards swapped
  • Vigilantly Monitoring Harvests and Strategies: We closely monitored harvests and strategies, including Keep3rs harvesting, ensuring efficient yield farming operations.
  • Improving Seafood's user interface and backend: We invested in Seafood's user interface and backend, aiming to make it the ultimate tool for anyone using yearn vaults. Specifically, we added support for v3 vaults and strategies to provide a comprehensive solution for non-yearn contributors overseeing their vaults and strategies.
  • Maintaining Kong: a backend data API designed for yearn-related frontends, indexing data across all chains where yearn is deployed.
  • yHaas Service: providing a reliable and secure harvest automation platform for yearn V3 for internal and external strategists. We introduced a registry, enabling strategists to register their strategies for harvest seamlessly.
  • Roboanimals: keeping the roboanimals working and up to date with existing needs.
  • Offering new tools for external users to build and deploy v3 strategies (Seafood, yHaas, etc.)

Plan

Seafood and Kong

  • (Seafood) APY 4K - Add an interactive APY infographic tool to Seafood, similar to the charts here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MEv6Z7RKQ3lXvwPc3gg5aqpLPsKNxLYKgA6FVIBIWKI.
  • (Seafood) V3 Simulator - Upgrade Seafood's simulator to support v3 products.
  • (Kong) New V3 APY - Working on a new APY that provides a breakdown of base vs boosted APY and is not drawn down artificially by recent deposits.
  • (Kong) V2 Rewards - Compute V2 rewards in the index instead of at the edge in the client app. This will complete the longer epic of 10Xing the data-sync experience in Seafood.

yHaaS - Yearn Harvest-as-a-Service:

  • Roll out yHaaS on Arbitrum and other chains and support v3 strategies and meta-vaults.
  • Further integrate yHaaS User Interface into the yearn-v3 strategist dashboard with additional overview features.
  • These advancements will enhance the service's appeal and contribute to the broader appeal of the yearn V3 platform.

Dune Dashboard and Analytics

  • Expand current vault reports from Mainnet to Arbitrum, Polygon & Optimism.
  • Reports to V3: Transition our reporting systems to accommodate the changes introduced with V3.
  • veYFI report: existing YFI to be distributed as rewards, YFI already sent as rewards, among relevant information for the general public.

Liquidity Service

  • Continue selling rewards for strategies and various yTeams while optimizing and automating these processes.
  • Keep collaborating with yTrades and yLockers teams to sell rewards and different yearn tokens.
  • With V3 and the new fee structure, we will swap rewards and fees for v3 internal strategies. Also, we intend to explore how we can offer this as a service for third-party development on top of V3.

Robowoofy

  • Using insights from Sentry to improve reliability and performance further
  • Launching a Robowoofy Secret Admirer's group to gather ideas for future features and improvements
  • View Robowoofy extended report

Kalani (NEW PRODUCT)

  • Given all the development done regarding vault management (Seafood, yHaas, rewards selling, among others), we plan to create a tool for V3 users to manage all their vaults, including:
    • Viewing their managed vaults
    • opt-in and opt-out from yHaaS
    • Monitoring their harvests (if they have yHaaS Service active)
    • Monitoring their rewards and eventually offering a service to sell them
    • Changing debt ratios between meta-vaults (if they have any)
    • Changing vault parameters
