I see! Then I might try to investigate more how Pymiere is solved (
) This provides a plugin you install once in
Premiere
, which is just a node.js server to communicate with a python process. Then the python library handles all the translation between extendscript and python, so there's no need to update the plugin itself. It becomes very javascript-like python code, but works well, and the developer said the translation is mostly automatic, and should work for After Effects as well.

How would you imagine the implementation of the feature?
