Obviously don't expect it to already work since it was just released, but figured I'd leave an issue here for completeness sake. At least on the beta branch of Steam a firmware update has been released for the controller that allows it to connect in Bluetooth mode or the proprietary communication the official dongle uses. If connecting in Bluetooth mode this program does not hook the inputs from the controller and it continues to use lizard mode.

Maybe the work @kozec has done on BT support in SC Controller would help. This would be great for GTK-less systems like Kodi on RPi.

I would like to vote for this!!! My steam controllers adaptor broke, so on my PC I use the USB cable but on my Steam Link I use Bluetooth. I have successfully managed to pair my controller to my RasPi but not sure how to get it to pick the controls...
