Extension Recommendations

While we believe these are the very best of the best, this can be subjective depending on your needs. We are also not saying you have to use all these extensions.

Here's what you don't need:

• Decentraleyes, LocalCDN
  • Third parties are already isolated in BetterFox using dFPI.
  • Decentraleyes is practically abandonware with little to no impact and outdated resources.
• Privacy Badger
  • Easily detected.
  • Additional blocking via hueristics is redundant when using Ghostery/uBlock Origin and Firefox's Total Cookie Protection.
• Disconnect
  • Firefox's ETP uses the Disconnect lists. We enforce these.
  • List of trackers is limited.
