To ensure the lpdc stays as coherent as possible, it is vital that commits are checked for valid RDF

There should be a validator inside the lpdc that can independent validate rdf files and jena models.
There is a basic approach on validating rdf within an ontology with domain and range properties.
Look at http://aksw.org/Projects/RDFUnit.html
