One "Issue" per feature! If in doubt create a new one.
Please provide a rough use case so its possible to get a deeper understanding how the feature would be used.
Every day Jellyfin and others programs create a log file. Each program with it's own name. Is there a posiblility to load the last file in a log directory or with an especific name ?
For example Jellyfin creates each day a file like log_20230511.log with a mask.
It dould be a good thing to open a file with a pattern like "log_YYYYMMDD.log" or something like this.
