We don't have a setting for this at the moment, but we should. There's an issue that sort of is asking for the same thing. It doesn't help that we have a bit of buggy behavior when closing quotes, where multiple quotes are inserted when only one is expected. We should fix that too. |

Zed matches opening brackets and quotes by adding or removing their closing counterpart automatically. But this often does not do what I intended and I usually end up with too many or not enough brackets/quotes.
Is there a way to disable 'matching brackets and quotes' in Zed or are there plans to do it?
