Since Zee has only a fixed set of colours to apply on the buffer, not any defined category of the respective Tree-Sitter will receive a highlight colour on its own. When Zee runs out of colours, the default foreground colour will be applied. This leads to keywords not being highlighted as such.

A possibility to challenge this issue is to define a custom highlights.scm for each affected language. This thread is intended to collect the languages and their syntax elements which are not highlighted appropriately.

C++ does not highlight comments and has a strange interpretation of both nullptr and this. I am working on a solution. Is there anything else to mind?

Haskell defines its own categories for where and import, respectively. Zee does not provide colours for those. I am working on a solution.
