Essentials and pinned tabs still don't retain favicons after reset

What happened?

Same problem as some other bug reports (#2997 #2704) that is said to be fixed in 1.0.1-a20 (#2853), but it is still reproducible to this day (1.0.1-a22).

• I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.
