Hey
I tried to implement zevenet as a proxy for outllok.
My scheme looks like this:
Clients (different subnets)
--> zevenet-ce (farm https, l4xnat)
--> 3x exchange (backend on the same network as zevenet).
Zevenet Specs: Virtual Machine, 4CPU, 6GB RAM, Zevenet Version: CE v5.12.2
With a dozen or so users (about 200 connections) zevenet gives advice, but when I connected about 800 users, zevenet froze.
It was impossible to display statistics via the GUI (the ball kept spinning until it finally gave up)
the process for creating rrd files was turned on every 5 minutes and loaded 1 CPU in 100%
the zproxy.cgi process was 100% when I wanted to display statistics in the GUI.
In general, the load was small (several percent), and it was impossible to work normally in Outlook on the clients' side. The search took a very long time, the connections were broken, only to be reconnected after a dozen or so seconds.
How/Can Zevenet be configured to handle about 1500 clients (each client generates about 4 connections)?
