Use the approach from zhmc-prometheus-exporter (PR zhmcclient/zhmc-prometheus-exporter#579)

Probably creates interesting questions such as how to save the session env vars. I think this idea needs to be postponed, at least until it is clear whether issue #580 has an outcome.
