How is TOTAL_SIZE calculated?

IN SSRN_UP.py,
TOTAL_SIZE = 42776
VAL_SIZE = 4281
TRAIN_SIZE = 8562
I want to know how these size of numbers are calculated.

TOTAL_SIZE equals to the number of all pixels subtracts the number of background pixels. You can load the ground truth file and show its stats to validate. Best regards, Zilong
