When testing a domain that is signed, but whose DS records haven’t been published yet, I noticed that the French translation for the DNSKEY_BUT_NOT_DS tag is very odd.
2001:41d0:a:129f::1 sent a DNSKEY record, but 194.0.9.1 did not send a DS record.
But the French translation states:
Le serveur de noms de la zone 2001:41d0:a:129f::1 retournent un enregistrement de type "DNSKEY", mais aucun enregistrement de type "DS" n'a été retourné par le serveur de noms de la zone parente 194.0.9.1.
Which, translated back to English, means:
The name server for the zone 2001:41d0:a:129f::1 return a "DNSKEY" record, but no "DS" record was returned by the name server of the parent zone 194.0.9.1.
Although I’ve found multiple issues involving DNSSEC07 and sometimes DNSKEY_BUT_NOT_DS, none of them seem to address the bad French translation. As a reminder, here are some other problems with DNSSEC07 that I’m aware of:
